The almost relentless news of data breaches have caused many high profile organisations to strengthen their IT security systems. It is incumbent on responsible stakeholders to understand the threat posed, the legal issues and liabilities that they may be exposed to and the necessary steps to limit such liabilities. At this talk, learn from Mr Lionel Tan, Partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice from Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP about the recent guidelines issues by the Personal Data Protection Commission on Managing Data Breaches to understand how to handle the crisis in the event of a cyber breach. The reporting requirements to the customers and regulators will also be explored together with best strategies to adopt for crisis management communications.
