The outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caught many organisations off guard in recent months. Existing operating and business models were being challenged and many organisations have been forced to reassess their operating environments and act swiftly to adapt to the changing regulatory and business conditions.  The Institute of Internal Auditors Singapore will be organising a webcast where our speakers from Pwc, David Toh and See Hong Pek will discuss how the public health incident has affected businesses, particularly in the area of governance over the new operating model that many organisations have been forced to adopt and the role that internal audit can play.  The webcast will also include an overview of Business Continuity Planning and issues faced by organisations in implementing its recovery strategies.
