Description:
CPE Hour: 1
Synopsis
The requirement for internal audit is no longer to be just a function of risk and control - it’s evolving into a partner that brings insight, influence, and impact across the enterprise. As organisations face increasing complexity and interconnected risks, internal audit must extend its reach beyond traditional reviews to become a key collaborator with the 1st and 2nd lines such as business, risk, compliance, and legal functions. This session explores how internal audit can strengthen its role as a trusted advisor by focusing on soft controls, leadership behaviour, and culture. Through practical examples, from corporate risk reviews to monitoring and financial compliance, you will gain insights into how internal audit can deliver greater value, influence change, and contribute to long-term organisational resilience.
