Become a Member

Membership Eligibility

The following is the criteria for membership application:

  • The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree (in any discipline) and/or a recognised professional certificate; and
  • The applicant must have a minimum of 1-year practical experience in internal audit or related auditing areas.

If you meet both the above criteria, you will be eligible to apply for the membership.

All members are required to comply with IIA Global Code of Ethics as set forth in Appendix A of the By-Laws.  Any member may be subject to disciplinary procedures, including censure, suspension, or expulsion, for violation of the Code of Ethics as prescribed.

 

Application Process

Individual 
  1. Prepare the Document List.
  2. Click "Apply here" and follow the flow to complete the online Membership Application Form  
  3. Complete payment for the subscription fees. A system email will be sent to acknowledge the submitted application.
  4. Reply to the Membership team with the preferred date to conduct the document  verification via a Zoom meeting.
  5. The application will then be submitted to the Membership & Certification Committee for approval after the verification process is completed.
  6. You will receive the membership ID (Global Account Number) through email when the application is approved.
  • Updated copy of resume, including current and previous job scopes.
  • Certified true copy of academic certificate, duly signed by HR / HOD or verify by IIA Singapore staff)
  • Letter of employment printed on company’s letterhead, including employment date and current job title. Validity of the letter should be within 3 months prior to application.
  • NRIC Consent form (Click to download, to be duly verified by IIA Singapore staff).
  • Files to be saved in PDF and use short filenames, such as Resume, Cert, Letter, Consent.

New Corporate Member Document List (in PDF format)  
1. A representative of the internal audit team will need to create a corporate member account online. If the representative is also a nominated staff member for the membership, please use a unique email address different from the administrator details when adding yourself as the nominee. Please ensure the following segments are completed accordingly for the application.
  • Account Declaration 
  • Business Details
  • Administrator Details
  • Addition of Corporate Nominee(s) (Refer to step 2 below)

  • Declaration form
  • Payment (Click on "Pay Later" to obtain an invoice emailed to the administrator)

2. Download the form here to provide the information of the nominees and obtain a copy of the BizFile to be forwarded to Membership & Certification department for processing.

3. Application Process

  • Documents must be received in full for the application process to commence.
  • New nominees are contacted separately via a system email to complete an online application form.
  • Reply to the Membership team with the preferred date to conduct the document verification via a Zoom meeting.
  • After the verification process is completed, the application will then be submitted for review.
  • Nominees will receive the membership ID (Global Account Number) through email when the application is approved.

**Corporate membership fee is based on a group discount rate which is applied to the individual membership fee of S$365.15 depending on the subscribed group size.
