Internal Audit Month

May is recognised globally as Internal Audit Month — a time when internal auditors around the world highlight the value the profession brings to organisations. It is an opportunity to raise awareness among stakeholders and the public about the vital role internal auditors play across sectors and industries, including in government and private sector organisations. While it is important to promote the value of internal audit throughout the year, May serves as a timely reminder to champion the profession and its impact on good governance, risk management and internal controls.
