The Future of Auditing in the Age of Digital Transformation
IIA Singapore and DBS co-organised an event for Internal Audit Leaders with the theme, “The Future of Auditing in the Age of Digital Transformation” on 14 November 2017. Attended by over 30 Internal Leaders, they had the chance to tour and experience, “Joyspace”, DBS’ new activity-based workspace.
DBS’ own brand of agile auditing approach involves an open-plan office that incorporates common spaces and wireless technology where its internal audit staff can eat, relax and interact with one another seamlessly. Both the DBS audit scrum masters Bervia Chew and Cheryl Gan were unanimous when they explained that “An integral part of our transformation journey is to change the concept of the traditional back-office to a more progressive, fun and customer centric office hub. With “Joyspace”, it further enabled us to foster a sense of community and collaboration among staff and simulate a community where ideas are germinated.”
