Learn At Lunch: Cyberattack Readiness
In line with the recent WannaCry ransomware attack, Mr. Eric Lee, Executive Director at Deloitte Risk Advisory Services, was invited to share with the participants on the cyberthreat landscape, the vulnerabilities faced and importance of beefing up cybersecurity. He also covered the Deloitte’s cybersecurity framework which the participants can use in a holistic approach to know where the organization stands in its journey to become secure, vigilant and resilient. Overall, participants found the session engaging and informative.
In addition, two publications: Global Technology Audit Guides (GTAG): Assessing Cybersecurity Risk: Roles of the Three Lines of Defense and IIA Global Perspectives and Insights: IA as Trusted Cyber Adviser were highlighted as insightful reads to understand Internal Audit’s role in cybersecurity.
