Once again, we received positive feedback from the second run of the Learn At Lunch Talk on “Blowing A Whistle: Rising to a Challenge in a Risky World” conducted by Mr Sarjit Singh, Executive Chairman, Ardent on 30 May 2019, which was organised in response to popular demand.

From businesses to government agencies, unethical or illegal activities have more often than not, been brought to light through whistleblowers. If and when we find ourselves in such situations, what do we do? To tell or not to tell. Over 40 internal audit professionals learnt from Mr Singh more about the ethical and moral dilemmas of whistleblowing, supplemented with real-life case examples. It was not entirely all work and no play, as intermittent laughter was heard throughout the session, with Mr Singh engaging the attendees with fun facts and quizzes. One lucky participant even walked away with a prize for giving the correct answer to “Who wants to be a Whistleblower”.
