Visit from the Cambodian General Department of Internal Audit of the Ministry of Economy and Finance
IIA Singapore played host to a delegation of seven officials, led by Mrs Ngeth Movylen, Deputy Director General of General Department of Internal Audit (GDIA) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, on 19 December 2018, as part of its study visit to Singapore.
Present at the sharing session included Mr Eric Lim, Past President of IIA Singapore, Professor Teo Chee Khiang, Past Governor of IIA Singapore and Ms Goh Puay Cheh, Executive Director of IIA Singapore. As part of our advocacy efforts, we provided insights specifically on the internal audit profession in Singapore and technology application in internal audit. We fielded questions ranging from the application process for Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) to IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing to the role of Singapore’s Auditor-General’s Office for the public sector.
To top it off, we have a happy Cambodian customer who purchased the latest IIA’s CIA Learning System Version 6.0.
