What Internal Auditors need to know about Cloud Technologies

Alejandra Artiguez, FSI Compliance Specialist from Amazon Web Services conducted a webinar on the topic, “What internal auditors need to know about cloud technologies” on 27 August 2020. Over 200 attendees from Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and Sri Lanka had the opportunity to learn more about the Shared Responsibility Model that is created between the customer and the Cloud Service Provider when it comes to the implementation and validation of security controls. As internal auditors, there is the need to understand the characteristics of cloud computing in order to validate the design and operating effectiveness of the controls.
