Managing Cyber Risks in the New Normal
The Covid-19 pandemic is forcing business leaders to adapt operating models faster than ever before to ensure existential survival. Even with Government advisories mandating social distancing and encouraging all to ‘stay at home’ as much as possible, large-scale adoption of work-from-home technologies, exponentially greater use of cloud services and explosion of connectivity have enabled companies to continue operations. However, this paradigm shift is putting immense pressure on cybersecurity operations.
Cecil Su, Director, Cyber Security & DFIR Unit of BDO Advisory conducted a webinar, “Managing Cyber Risks in the New Normal” on 30 July 2020 that saw over 200 participants including Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand. They learnt more about the evolving cyber risk threat landscape, the risks associated with recent rapid changes in technology and behaviours, and approaches to building their organisation’s cyber resilience.
