RPA Risk Management and Assurance
Digital technology is well recognised as an important enabler for innovations. Organisations are launching new products and services by leveraging new-wave digital technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), chatbots and cognitive automation. While technology improves efficiency, it also opens new risks to the business environment.
Held on 15 June 2020, the webinar, “RPA Risk Management and Assurance” delved into RPA where speakers from Deloitte shared key areas in assurance over RPA design and implementation projects through case studies. Internal auditors need to understand the organisation’s RPA programme, setup, and architecture in order to provide effective risk management and assurance.
With over 150 registrations received, the webinar saw interaction between our speakers and participants who posed varying questions from the future of internal audit with RPA to the benefits of RPA when auditing remotely.
