Data Governance Overview: Challenges & Expectations

Over 190 participants attended the webinar “Data Governance Overview: Challenges & Expectations” on 10 February 2022. The speaker, Richard Yeong, Head of Technology Audit & Innovation from Grab provided an introduction and overview on what is data governance and its importance to organisations to get it right. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about data governance concepts, such as Golden Source, Meta-Data, Critical Data Elements, Data Lineage and Data Tracing.
At the end of the session, attendees understood that having a strong data governance programme in place is key to the data transformation necessary to help maximise the potential value of an organisation’s data.
