Understanding IP Audit and its Handling Rights
Organisations have many intellectual property (IP) assets which make up majority of the company's value. IP Audit helps to identify these potential assets and enhances effectiveness of IP in organisations. We organised a webinar, “Understanding IP Audit and its Handling Rights” on 11 August 2022 where Jason Loh, CEO & Founder of Piece Future Pte Ltd shared more about the preparation process, and the nuances and benefits behind an IP audit to be carried in an organisation. The key takeaway for the more than 130 participants is that an IP audit is important not only in terms of improving the management of intellectual property and accounting for it, but in an increasingly competitive world where misappropriation of IP assets is prevalent, basic and accessible inventories are crucial.
