ESG For Internal Auditors

Organised as part of the celebrations for International Internal Audit Awareness Month, a webinar, “ESG For Internal Auditors” was held on 25 May 2023. This event marked the fourth webinar in a series of weekly webinars organised throughout the month. Over 300 participants from Singapore and the region gathered to delve into the challenges of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

During the talk, Jeremy Peh, Principal Trainer at Critical Thinking Academy explored the integration of game theory principles and ethical perspectives as tools for addressing ESG factors. He emphasised the critical need for internal auditors to understand the interplay of various factors and to embrace ethical considerations when tackling ESG issues. As the awareness of ESG grows, internal auditors play a vital role in ensuring the integration of responsible practices within organisations.
