New Year Networking Night
IIA Singapore organised a networking event - New Year Networking Night for members on 12 January 2023 at Nalati Restaurant. Goh Chin Yee, Vice President, Board of Governors of IIA Singapore shared what the Institute has to offer to support members in elevating impact in their role as internal auditors. The guest speaker, Dr David Kuo, Co-founder, The Smart Investor shared about the investment outlook for 2023.
As this was the first in-person event of this nature in more than two years, the turnout of over 40 members and partners was encouraging. Members had a fun time playing a bingo game where they made new friends and renewed old acquaintances. Three lucky winners walked away with vouchers for completing the challenge in the fastest time. It was an enjoyable evening of networking held over drinks and sumptuous local cuisine.
From the feedback received, many of the attendees found such events to be useful and meaningful. Meeting and networking with people from diverse background serves to provide a source of connection and belonging!
