Save the Earth with IIA Singapore YPWG
On a sunny morning of 25 June 2023, a group of 17 dedicated young internal audit professionals gathered at East Coast Park for a common cause - to make a positive impact on our environment. Organised by the IIA Singapore Young Professionals Working Group (YPWG), this event served as a catalyst for change, fostering a sense of community and inspiring participants to become environmental advocates.
Under the warm sun, our passionate participants rolled up their sleeves and devoted themselves to the mission at hand. They embarked on the task of removing litter, knowing that every piece cleaned up brought us closer to a cleaner, healthier world for generations to come. The event provided a platform for these young professionals to not only contribute to a meaningful cause but also to engage with like-minded individuals who share a passion for creating a sustainable future. During one poignant moment, a participant shared this perspective, saying, "Though our efforts may be small, we are already a changemaker by contributing and making a difference to our planet." This sentiment encapsulated the collective spirit of the event, emphasising the profound impact that each individual can have, regardless of the scale of their actions.
