48th Annual General Meeting
On 28 October 2024, IIA Singapore held its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at NUSS Suntec City Guild House, welcoming over 50 members. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity for the Board to engage with members and reflect on the past year’s achievements.
A notable moment was the election of three new members to the Board of Governors: Ong Wei Han (Chief Administrative Officer, Asia Pacific and Senior Country Business Manager, South & Southeast Asia, JP Morgan), Tay Lay Khim (Group Director – Assurance, Accountant-General's Department), and Sia Hwee Lay (Head of Business Audit, GIC Pte Ltd). Additionally, Koh Wei Chern (Associate Professor, Singapore University of Social Sciences) and Norman Kuik (Vice President and Head of Corporate Audit, Singapore Economic Development Board) were re-elected to serve another term.

Five members - David Toh, Vincent Cheang, Ang Peng Kwee, Benson Seah (who was unable to attend due to illness), and Stephen Ching—were conferred Fellowship status. In addition, the prestigious title of Honorary Member was conferred upon Tan Peck Leng in recognition of her exceptional contributions.
Outgoing Board members Vincent Cheang, Debbie Goh, and Nicodemus Tan (who was out of town) were honoured with tokens of appreciation, presented by the Institute’s President, Stephen Ching, for their invaluable service. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the FY2023/2024 Board members for their unwavering commitment to advancing the Institute’s initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a lucky draw, where one member won a complimentary pass to the 2025 Annual Conference.
