CAE Roundtable Discussion
On 30 July 2024, IIA Singapore, in partnership with Diligent, hosted an engaging CAE Roundtable discussion at The Westin Singapore. This event brought together 23 Chief Audit Executives (CAEs) from various industries, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and networking.
The roundtable began with a presentation by Richard Dyason, Executive Director of IIA Singapore who outlined key risk areas based on a survey of internal audit leadership and regional roundtable results. This set the stage for discussions on critical topics such as climate risks, market competition, and digital disruption. Attendees had the opportunity to delve into these critical issues, exchange valuable insights, and explore strategies to navigate emerging challenges. The roundtable offered more than just learning opportunities - it also facilitated meaningful networking among CAEs from diverse sectors. Feedback from participants highlighted the value of the discussions. One participant noted, “The participants were vocal and engaged in good sharing,” while another commented, “Great event and networking”.
