Certification Renewal
Certification Renewal is facilitated through a self-certification process with the earning and attesting to the required CPE credit hours based on requirement of the respective certification on an annual basis.
The renewal deadline is 31 December each year through the Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS). Certification Renewal Fee varies according to membership status with the local affiliate. IIA-certified professionals who fail to meet their CPE requirements by the renewal deadline on 31 Dec will automatically be placed in Grace status and may not use their designation. Individuals who remain in Grace for more than 24 months will enter into a Revoked status and must reapply and retest to become certified again.

As an IIA-certified professional, you are responsible for ensuring that the CPE information in your report is accurate. You must include your membership or candidate identification number when renewing your certifications. View the Certification Renewal Policy for qualifying CPE activities.
Log in to the Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) to complete the certification renewal. If you need further assistance, please log in to CCMS and log an incident by clicking into HELP.
